1. Winding a thread into a ball (16 bars) |
1 bar:
“Gudo duda” |
In the height of a bossom the dancers make
a ball from the thread” (the elbows are a little bit protruded, and the fists are made),
widing the thread in the direction opposite to oneself. They sing slowly and wind quickly
and merrily. |

2 bar:
“timpt - timpt” |
The dancers push their elbows to the sides
twice energetically, as if “stretching the thread”. |
|
|
3 - 4 bar: “Gudo duda timpt - timpt” |
The movements of the 1-2 bar are repeated,
but now the “thread” is wound towards oneself. |
|
|
5 bar: “Gudo duda…” |
Once again “the thread is wound” in
the direction opposite to oneself. |
|
|
6 bar: “timp-timpt-timpt” |
In the height of the bossom the dancers
beat the right fist on the left fist every quaver, as if hammering a nail (from the top
towards the bottom). |

|
7 bar “Gudo duda…” |
The ball is wound in the direction of
oneself. |
|
|
8 bar
“…timp-timpt-timpt” |
The movements of 6 bar are repeated (but
they beat from the top with the left fist). |
|
|
9 - 16 bar |
Again the movements of 1-8 bar are
repeated. |

2. Waltz - polka

1-16 bar |
The melody of the first half of the music
is repeated, but in polka rhythm. Having finished “winding a ball”, the dancers join
hands like for a waltz and dance waltz polka all 16 bars merrily. |
